A visit to Nea Kavala refugee camp in northern Greece (Polykastro) in october 2016.
Working as a volunteer and at the same time getting to know beautiful people and children living in devastating conditions. Their situation seemed hopeless and their future unsure, but still so many where spreading so much love and giving away lots of smiles.
Cameras where strictly forbidden into the camps, but we managed to sneak mine in and got a few interviews on film.
You'll find the video at the bottom.
(The video had a screening at Parkteatret in Oslo 2017, alongside with a charity event raising money for Médecins Sans Frontières hosted by my beautiful friend Aliaa Hamza and her brother Firas Hamza.
(The event raised 150.000 NOK)
The situation for the people in the camps are luckily far better now than back in 2016.
